The Big Secret About Improving Successfully

There is one thing that can stand in your way from achieving anything in life. One thing that can make or break a great idea. Just one thing that can make a bad idea work, and a good idea (without it) fail.

It is something that gets stronger the more you use it. It can also be hard to develop its use into a habit. Without it, even with the best set up and tools, you will eventually fail. What is this magic potion? Where can I get it?

A positive attitude. That is the simple secret. With it, the strongest wind couldn't blow you down. Without it, you are like a balloon that has just left a child's grasp – floating aimlessly until you pop.
So what can we do to create this magical game changer?

Props
Props are used in theater to help the audience visualize the reality the play is trying to show. They can be used as symbols to evoke a certain feeling, for example a Nazi SS flag nailed to a wall would be a very strong prop to use if you were trying to promote certain feelings.

But you can use props to your advantage. Remember what they used to tell you to do so you would not forget something? Tie a string to your finger. “Why is there a string tied to my finger? Oh, yeah. I have to go to grandma's house this afternoon.” Be creative. You don't need to be blatantly obvious about it. It could be something simple, like a brooch that was given to you by someone special, to a photo of the flowers that your boyfriend got you for your birthday taped to your office wall.

Positive Affirmations
I couldn't do an article on being positive if I didn't include positive affirmations. This is the easiest thing you can do, and the most long-lastingly-effective way that you can ensure being positive for life. (I know I made up a word there, but just roll with it. I'm not going to let it get me down.) Keep mentioning them throughout the day as you get time, especially at the beginning of the day. Affirmations are like breakfast, you need them to help you power your way through lunch.

A few tips on affirmations: write them down on note cards or something easily referenceable like business cards, make them easy to remember. If they rhyme they will float off of your tongue and into your heart with ease.

Happy Faces Bring You To Happy Places
You are the company you keep. If everyone around you is down in the dumps all of the time, you will be too. Negativity is like the love child between a vampire and a black hole. It sucks the life out of all who come near it. You just don't need to be around it. Surround yourself with happiness, it is so much easier to build upon a positive emotion than it is to dig your way out of a negative one.

In the end, if you make an effort to stay near positive people and situations, reaffirm positivity in your life daily, and make an effort to place positive icons where you will see them and be reminded of them then you can hardly fail. And if you do, so what? Failure is the leading cause of greatness! Think of all of the discoveries that would have been missed had the original experiments have gone right.

DISCLAIMER
Now having said all of that, there are a few things that positive thinking cannot do. While it may help you shorten your time in bed, being positive alone is not a cure for illness or disease. It will help you to do the right things to get to do what you want, but it won't do them for you. Being positive and improving successfully will ONLY happen with some effort. Be wary of anything that is "too good to be true", and that goes for anything (books, videos) implying that just by positive thinking alone you can keep yourself away from disaster. In anything you do, try to be objective. But be objective in a positive manner that will help you to find a better solution to whatever it is that you are trying to accomplish.
